Because I shape each Palm leaf hat entirely by hand, and the blanks are made by hand, no two will be exactly alike. These hats are "ONE OF A KIND ORIGINALS", Signed and dated. I start with a "Guatemaltecan" blank. Each hat is shaped and decorated at the time the hat is ordered. You may order any hat pictured by number, Include your hat size, or the
inches around your head where you wear your hat.
You may also order a Custom made "PALMA BLANCA SOMBRERO"
using the OPTIONS page here.

PALMA BLANCA SOMBREROS, Have a long history in the southern U.S. to South America. This has been an everyday working mans hat for many years, Tried and true to it's purpose. Palm leaf is 10 times more durable than straw. After I shape each hat, I apply a water-based Acrylic to stiffen and protect from loosing their shape , even in a pouring rain. Palm leaf is used in many parts of the world as roofing material, and is naturally resistant to sun and rain. A well cared for hat will give you many years of service. The hats may be re-shaped if neccisary. Soften with a good soaking in water (5 min.) shape and wear til dry for that perfect fit to the unique shape of your head.
